The Solar Decathlon is a bi-yearly event joining 20 college and university teams in a competition to design, build, and operate the most attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered house. Students from five of the competing schools tour their team's homes, showcasing the sustainable technologies, materials and strategies that were used.
